- Acetaminophen: Tylenol, Excedrin, and most NyQuil/DayQuil and cold-and-flu medicines
- Naproxen: Aleve
- Dropped pills, purses, and pill organizers are the classic sources
What happens
A single acetaminophen tablet can kill a cat. NSAIDs cause stomach ulcers and kidney failure in dogs and cats.
